How PlasticIQ™ Technology Works

PlasticIQ™ is a chemical additive (not software or computer technology) that catalyzes controlled oxidation of polyolefin polymers when exposed to oxygen, UV light, and heat. This process:

  • Reduces molecular weight below 5,000 Daltons (verified in Tier 1 testing)
  • Enables microbial bioassimilation of the oxidized material (verified in Tier 2 testing)
  • Results in no persistent microplastic residues (verified in Tier 3 eco-toxicity testing)
